Phase 3 Biweekly Report 3
Introduction:
Our last two weeks as student teachers in GMTHS was uneventful. We have gotten into the rhythm of teaching, and although I was tired, I was keeping up.
Day 21: 07 January 2025
I taught propagation of sound in VIII using inquiry training. And I have mastered using smart board in IX, and it is going to be better as I used simulations more.
Day 22: 09 January 2025
I used simulation to teach circuit diagrams in IX.
Day 23: 10 January 2025
This class for VIII was unique, teaching about hearing ang hearing impaired.
Day 24: 13 January 2025
VIII was introduced to the concepts of ultrasonic and infrasonic and limits of human audibility in this day's class.
Day 25: 15 January 2025
I taught IX about building a small torch and uses of voltmeter and ammeter. And explained noise pollution to VIII
Day 26: 16 January 2025
Ohm's law was introduced to IX using simulations again. The circuit building simulation of PhET is really useful.
Day 27: 17 January 2025
I conducted the achievement test for VIII. I also valued the test on the day itself.
Day 28: 20 January 2025
VIII was introduced to static electricity and the concept of electrification.
Day 29: 21 January 2025
The nature of charges was presented to VIII using an ICT model.
We also conducted an awareness program about global warming to the whole school.

Day 30: 22 January 2025
Our teaching staff gave us a small sent-off in the end. It felt like they accepted us as part of the school and that was extremely rewarding.
Conclusion
Through two phases of teaching internship, I have learned more things than I can honestly list here. From patience to the right moment to intercede, to caring and getting angry, and so much more in the spectra of human experience has been condensed in these months within these walls.
I feel that I am only beginning to learn how to be a teacher but this was a wonderful start.
